DOVER, Del. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team concludes its season-opening, eight-game road swing Tuesday night at Delaware State. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Colonels (3-4) have lost two straight games following a 70-63 setback to Norfolk State Sunday. In those two games, Eastern shot just 26.4 percent (14-of-53) from three-point range. The Colonels are 3-0 this year when shooting at least 31 percent from three-point range and 0-4 when shooting less than 31 percent.

Delaware State sits at 2-3 overall after an 85-62 loss at Wagner on Saturday. Tahj Tate led three Hornets in double figures with 17 points while the team tallied a team-record 15 blocks against Wagner. Delaware State last faced an OVC team in the 2011 ESPN BracketBusters with a 78-63 loss to Tennessee State.

After taking on Delaware State, the Colonels finally return home to take on Brescia Saturday night.
