MOREHEAD, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University’s volleyball team lost to Morehead State University, 3-0, on Wednesday night.

Match scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-14.

Freshman Alexis Plagens led EKU (6-8, 1-2 OVC) with six kills.  Hannah Burkle and Ashley Edmond each finished with five.  Burkle and Abbey Cvelbar each had three blocks to help Eastern to an 8-5 edge in blocking for the match.

Aryn Bohannon and Ellie Roberson led the Eagles (8-5, 3-0 OVC) with 15 and 14 kills respectively.  Morehead State held a .408 to .084 advantage in hitting percentage.  MSU registered 55 kills compared to 24 for EKU.

The Colonels return home to host Tennessee-Martin on Friday at 7 p.m.
