RICHMOND, Ky. –
With a 5-13 record and 2-6 in the OVC, the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team will be back in action this weekend playing at home.

EKU will play UT Martin at 6 p.m. on Friday and Southeast Missouri State University Saturday at 2 p.m.

Junior Ashley Edmond is leading EKU with an average of 2.97 kills per set, and a total of 181 kills for the season.  Junior Kelsey Kuehner has contributed a total of 49 blocks so far for the Colonels.  Sophomore Dena Ott is also leading the Colonels with an average of 4.94 digs per set.

UT Martin is 8-14 this season as well as being 4-4 in conference play.  The Skyhawks received their last loss on October 12, 2012 against Tennessee State by a score of 3-1.

Southeastern Missouri is 16-7 for the season and 8-0 in the conference. SEMO has won the last four of their matches, after falling to Arkansas State 3-2. The Redhawks are led by Colleen Yarber with an average of 3.44 kills per game and Emily Coon who has achieved 100 blocks for the season.
