MOREHEAD, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University’s volleyball team lost 3-0 at Morehead State University on Wednesday night.

The Eagles (23-6, 15-0 OVC) won by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-16.  Morehead State has now won 14 straight in the series.

Ashley Edmond had 10 kills and a .304 attack percentage for Eastern (9-18, 5-10 OVC).  No other Colonel had more than four kills.

Kentucky natives Ellie Roberson and Courtney Smith contributed 14 and 13 kills each for Morehead State.  Smith also had four blocks and four digs.  Fellow Kentuckians Leslie Schellhaas finished with 14 digs and Caitlin Clark had 41 assists.

MSU had a .386 attack percentage while EKU hit .053.  The Eagles held a 7-3 edge in blocks and had 24 more digs.

The Colonels will conclude their regular season schedule on Saturday at Murray State.  The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET.
