NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Host Notre Dame beat Eastern Kentucky University’s volleyball team 3-0 on the final day of the Shamrock Invitational.

The Fighting Irish won by scores of 25-16, 25-22 and 25-20.

Freshman Rachel Vick led the team with nine kills and a .333 attack percentage.  Kelsey Kuehner added eight kills.  Dena Ott posted a match-best 23 digs.

Toni Alugbue led all players with 17 kills for Notre Dame.  Jeni Houser added 10 kills.

Eastern will be back in action on Friday against Oakland University at the Cleveland State Invitational.  The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
