RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team will take on their conference rival, Morehead State University on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. The Colonels will look to bounce back from a an 0-2 start to the Ohio Valley Conference schedule.

The contest, sponsored by UBS Bookstore, will be played at McBrayer Arena on the EKU campus.  The first 100 students in attendance will receive free mini-volleyballs.

The Colonels’ Dena Ott is second in the conference in digs with a total of 208 and 5.07 per set. Ashley Edmond has 106 kills with an average of 2.79 per set.  Kelsey Kuehner has 96 kills and also leads the team with 36 blocks.

Eastern is 3-9 overall this season.

Morehead State holds a 10-6 overall record and a 2-0 conference mark. MSU’s Ellie Roberson leads the conference with 203 kills while Aryn Bohannon has 22 service aces on the season.
