RICHMOND, Ky. – After splitting the first two sets, Eastern Kentucky University’s volleyball team saw Morehead State University win two straight for a 3-1 win on Wednesday at McBrayer Arena.
The Eagles (11-6, 3-0 OVC) won by scores of 25-17, 18-25, 25-18 and 25-17.
Morehead State led by only two, 18-16, in the third set after a kill by Eastern’s 
Rachel Vick.  However, the Eagles scored five unanswered to take control of the set, and the match. 
Ashley Edmond led the Colonels (3-10, 0-3 OVC) with seven kills.  Vick finished with six kills and five blocks.  
Dena Ott contributed 25 digs.
MSU was led by Ellie Roberson with 14 kills.  Laura McDermott and Aryn Bohannon added 10 kills each.  Annie Gruenschlaeger had six blocks.
EKU’s four-match home stand ends on Saturday against Austin Peay.  The first serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. at McBrayer Arena.
