RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky volleyball team will play its fourth Ohio Valley Conference match of the season this weekend. The Colonels will square-off against Austin Peay on Saturday in Clarksville, Tenn. The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET.

The Colonels (7-10, 1-2 OVC) look to stop redshirt freshman outside hitter Sammie Ebright and the Governors of Austin Peay State (5-13, 2-1 OVC). APSU opened the home portion of its schedule with a five-set OVC victory against Murray State.

Ebright led the Governors against Murray State with a career best of 15 kills. The Governors are also led by junior, Jada Stotts, who had 16 kills her last match.

Eastern Kentucky will counter with junior Dena Ott and senior Ashley Edmond. Edmond is coming off a match high of 11 kills against Morehead State. Dena Ott led all players with 23 digs against the Eagles in an OVC match-up on Wednesday. The Colonels fell 3-0.

Following Saturday's conference match, the Colonels will face conference opponent, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville back in Richmond, on Oct. 11.
