RICHMOND, Ky. –
Eastern Kentucky will host Tennessee Tech on Thursday.

Tip-off at McBrayer Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.  The live radio broadcast of the game is available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, and can be heard worldwide on EKUSports.com.  A FREE live video broadcast of the contest is available on OVCDigitalNetwork.com.

Thursday is Baptist Health Night.  Baptist Health will be providing a FREE Mini Health Fair with screenings for blood glucose, body fat analysis and body mass index.  Fans can also enjoy a parfait bar and there will be free t-shirts.  Since it’s Valentine’s Day, Baptist Health will also be giving away a “Sweetheart Dinner for Two.”

The Colonels (19-6, 8-3 OVC) are one win away from their first 20-win season since 2009-10 and the eighth 20-win campaign in program history.

Eastern Kentucky has held its last two opponents to less than 50 points.  Crowley’s Ridge scored only 31 and Morehead State totaled just 47 against the Colonel defense.

In his last three games, sophomore forward Eric Stutz has averaged 12.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, three blocks, three steals and 1.7 assists per game.  Since returning to play after missing six games with an injury, junior Glenn Cosey has averaged 16 points, four assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals over the last four games.

Tennessee Tech is 9-14 this season and 3-8 in conference play.  The Golden Eagles snapped a two-game losing streak with a home court win over Jacksonville State on Saturday.

Jud Dillard, a 6-foot-5 senior guard, does it all for TTU.  He was a first team All-OVC pick last season when he average 18 points, while shooting 52 percent, and nine rebounds.  This year Dillard leads the team in scoring (19 ppg) and rebounding (8 rpg).  He has made 46 percent of his shots from the field.

No other Golden Eagle averages more than 9.5 points a game.

As a team, Tennessee Tech scores 64 points and allows 67 per game.  The Golden Eagles have made 42 percent of their shots from the field, including 32 percent from outside the arc.

Eastern leads the all-time series 68-56, and is 40-22 in games played in Richmond.  However, the Golden Eagles have won four straight overall in the series.
