RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University is scheduled to host a two-game set this weekend on Friday and Saturday. On Friday the Colonels will play Jacksonville State University and Tennessee Tech University on Saturday.
 
EKU and JSU are tied with two other teams right now for first place in the OVC.  Eastern is 15-7 overall and 5-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
 
Jacksonville State played two games last weekend against Tennessee State and Belmont. They defeated TSU in three sets, and lost to Belmont in five. They also played Wednesday night and defeated Alabama A&M in three sets. JSU will play EKU Friday with the serve going up at 7 p.m.
 
The Gamecocks currently hold a 13-9 overall record, but are 5-1 in the OVC.
 
Tennessee Tech also played games last Friday and Saturday against Belmont and Tennessee State. TTU lost to Belmont in three sets, but defeated TSU in four. The Golden Eagles will take on Morehead State Friday before heading to Richmond for a Saturday 2 p.m. start. Tech is currently 8-14 overall and 3-3 in the OVC.
