RICHMOND, Ky. –
Several prize packages will be given away to students when the Eastern Kentucky volleyball team hosts rival Morehead State on Wednesday at McBrayer Arena.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.  Five $50 EKU Bookstore gift certificates will be given away to students at the match.  Five lucky students will also win Raising Cane's prize packages.  Other prizes will be given away throughout the match.

With two matches remaining in the regular season, the Colonels (19-13) are in the hunt for a top-3 seed in next week's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.  Eastern is currently alone in third place with a 9-5 league record.  EKU is two games behind second place Belmont and just one game in front of Jacksonville State and Austin Peay.

Eastern Kentucky is one win away from its first 20-win season since capturing the 2005 OVC Championship and finishing with a 23-7 record.

Senior Dena Ott enters Wednesday's match just seven digs away from breaking the EKU record of 2,454 held by Brittany Nobilio.

The Eagles (2-27, 2-12 OVC) have struggled this season and have lost five of their last six.  Both Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State were swept on a road trip to Eastern Illinois and Southern Illinois Edwardsville this past weekend.
