RICHMOND, Ky. –The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team will play Austin Peay Saturday at 4 p.m. in Alumni Coliseum. Senior day ceremonies will be held before the match.
EKU's record is 20-13 overall and 10-5 in the conference. The Colonels are third in the Ohio Valley Conference and have secured the No. 3 seed for next week's league tournament. Eastern is second in the OVC with 16.38 digs per set and third with 1.40 service aces per set.
Austin Peay is 14-17 (8-7 OVC). APSU is third in the OVC with 12.34 assists per set, an average of 13.25 kills per set, and 16.27 digs per set.

Dena Ott surpassed the EKU record of 2,454 career digs, held by Brittany Nobilio, against MSU. Ott now has 2,461 career digs. She is second in the OVC averaging 5.08 digs per set.
Alexis Plagens had a team-high of nine kills.
The Governors lost, 3-0 on Tuesday against number one ranked Murray State. Hillary Plybon had seven kills and Lizzy Bales added 11 digs. Austin Peays' Jada Stotts is second in the OVC averaging 3.57 kills per set and 4.13 points per set.
