EKU To Face Murray State Saturday

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University wraps up its four game home stand on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Murray State University.
 
Murray State is currently 2-0 in conference play while EKU is 2-1. The Racers are a one loss team, sitting on a 12-1 record.
 
The Colonels are coming off two big home wins. Tennessee State fell to the Colonels last weekend 3-2 and Morehead State fell to the Colonels 3-0 on Wednesday in their most recent match.
 
Against the Eagles Ally Peters and Johanna Boyer led the charge with seven kills apiece. Rachel Vick and Danielle Hicks followed closely behind with six each.
 
Freshman libero, Chloe Rojas matched Morehead's Courtney Smith at 15 digs to lead all players. Rojas is ranked fourth in the OVC in digs, and is the only freshman in the top 10.
