RICHMOND, Ky. –Eastern Kentucky will continue its Ohio Valley Conference slate this weekend with matches at Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Tennessee Martin. 
The Colonels (3-16, 2-2 OVC) split their recent four-game OVC home stand picking up wins over Tennessee State University and Morehead State University at McBrayer Arena. 
EKU will rely on freshman defensive specialist 
Chloe Rojas to help tame the opposing offenses this weekend. Rojas ranks fifth in the OVC in digs per set (4.22) and has tallied a team-best 285 digs on the season. 
The Colonels will face two of the most efficient attackers in the OVC this weekend. SEMO's Nzingha Clarke ranks third in the conference in hitting percentage (.328), while UT Martin's Kiah Cheatham (.256) ranks tenth in the category. 
EKU's 
Celina Sanks racked up 17 kills in two wins over the weekend to lead the Colonels. Sanks is averaging a team-best 2.46 kills per set. 
Rachel Vick added 17 kills in Eastern's wins. 
EKU is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Colonel volleyball this season.  Eastern's first 49 years includes seven Ohio Valley Conference regular season championships, nine OVC Tournament titles and seven more pre-NCAA conference and regional championships.
