RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU volleyball team will conclude regular season play Saturday at Austin Peay.
 
The Colonels (10-21, 9-6 OVC) are currently fourth in Ohio Valley Conference standings with one regular season match remaining. Eastern Kentucky found its groove during conference play, amassing five consecutive wins. Since the streak ended with a loss at Belmont University, the Colonels have gone 2-1.
 
Senior middle blocker Rachel Vick currently ranks 10th in the OVC, hitting .255 on the season. Vick has tallied 251 kills with an average of 2.26 kills per set. Sophomore Celina Sanks has a team-high 303 kills on the season.
 
The Colonels are coming off a 3-0 victory over Morehead State, completing the season sweep of the Eagles.
 
Austin Peay (9-22, 3-12 OVC) lost its most recent match against Murray State after winning its previous three. Senior outside hitter Samantha Strother leads the Governors with 248 kills on the season. Sophomore middle blocker, Ashley Slay, averages 2.45 kills-per-set for Austin Peay.
