PDF StatsRICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University baseball team fell short in its 2015 season finale against Tennessee Tech Saturday afternoon. A fifth inning rally lifted the Golden Eagles to a 10-2 victory at Turkey Hughes Field.
Tennessee Tech (25-27, 16-14 OVC) took control of the game with four runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth. Anthony El Chibani started both of those innings with leadoff doubles. In the fifth, the first five TTU batters would reach base with a double, walk and three singles. Jordan Hopkins capped that stretch with a two-run single.
Tyler Brazelton, Jake Farr and Trevor Putzig notched RBIs in the three-run sixth inning.
Eastern tallied its lone runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Ben Fisher produced run-scoring singles in the opening frame.
Tennessee Tech pitchers Jacob Honea and Travis Moths held the Colonels to just three hits the final eight innings.
The Colonels conclude the 2015 season with an overall record of 21-29 and OVC record of 12-17.
