EKU Goes Down At Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Despite 11 kills and eight digs by sophomore Celina Sanks, Eastern Kentucky went down 3-1 at Marshall on Tuesday.
 
Sanks and Lauren Osuch combined for 18 kills and just six errors. 
 
The Thundering Herd (4-0) held a 61-39 advantage in kills.  Cassie Weaver led all players with 21 kills.  Eastern had a 6-3 advantage in blocks, but had 22 fewer digs.
 
EKU (0-4) will make the short trip to Knoxville, Tennessee to participate in the Dish Lady Vol Classic this coming weekend.  The Colonels open play on Friday with matches against UNC Greensboro at 10 a.m. and North Florida at 4:30 p.m.
