RICHMOND, Ky. – Rivals Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State will meet on the volleyball court for the 106th time on Wednesday. This meeting comes at McBrayer Arena in Richmond.
The Colonels are coming off a 3-2 victory over Tennessee State at home to even their conference record at 1-1. The Eagles are also 1-1 and have a 3-2 victory over TSU as well. Morehead State fell to Belmont, 3-2, in its most recent match.
Danielle Hicks led Eastern with 17 kills, made just two errors in 30 attacks and had a .500 attack percentage in Eastern's win over Tennessee State on Saturday.

Rachel Vick (10) also had double digit kill totals. Freshman
Chloe Rojas led all players with 23 digs.
Rojas earned OVC Defensive Player of the Week recognition after averaging 5.5 digs per set in two matches last week. She currently ranks fourth in the conference this season with an average of 4.26 digs per set.
Morehead State leads the league in blocks and has held opponents to the second lowest hitting percentage in the OVC this season.
EKU is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Colonel volleyball this season. Eastern's first 49 years includes seven Ohio Valley Conference regular season championships, nine OVC Tournament titles and seven more pre-NCAA conference and regional championships.
