- EKU (2-3) defeated Idaho State, 91-82, in a wild, overtime thriller on Tuesday to advance to the championship game. The Colonels knocked down four three-pointers and tallied 20 points in the overtime period to secure the win.

Nick Mayo recorded his first double-double of the season on Tuesday, notching 21 points and 10 rebounds. He also dished out a career high four assists.

Jaylen Babb-Harrison poured in 20 points against ISU, while also dishing out a career-high seven assists and matching a career-high with seven rebounds.

Isaac McGlone matched a career-high with five steals vs. ISU.
- EKU broke the Cancun Challenge record for steals in a game with 17 vs. Idaho State.
- EKU forced Idaho State into 30 tunovers on Tuesday. That is the most turnovers forced by the Colonels since they forced 32 against Warren Wilson College on Nov. 13, 2013 ... a span of over three years.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Georgia State (2-2) rolled past NJIT, 74-53, on Tuesday in Cancun. The Panthers are led by Jeremy Hollowell, who comes in averaging 16.8 points-per-game.
- This is the third meeting between EKU and Georgia State. The series is tied, 1-1. GSU won the last matchup, 61-56, on Dec. 30, 1998 at McBrayer Arena.
