RICHMOND, Ky. — After five weeks on the road to open the 2016 campaign, the EKU volleyball team will host Ohio Valley Conference foe and intrastate rival, Morehead State University on Wednesday.
Wednesday's first serve is set for 7 p.m. ET from McBrayer Arena. FREE t-shirts will be available compliments of EKU Campus Rec.
EKU dropped its first two matches of league play over the weekend with a 3-1 loss at Tennessee Tech and a 3-0 setback in Jacksonville.
The Colonels have won the last five meetings against the Eagles and will look to extend the streak to six on Wednesday. MSU's last win in the series came on Oct. 2, 2013 in Morehead.

Morehead State totes a 5-10 record into Richmond. The Eagles split their two matches over the weekend to open conference play. MSU upended Tennessee Tech 3-1 in Cookeville on Saturday after losing in straight sets at Jacksonville State on Friday.
Sophomore Meredith Jewell paces the Eagle offense, averaging 3.36 kills-per-set.
