RICHMOND, Ky. – The 2017 EKU Basketball Hoopfest is set for Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Alumni Coliseum.
 
The Halloween component to the night's festivities will begin in the evening, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. on the concourse level near the natatorium and games and candy provided by the EKU Parks and Recreation department. Free pizza will also be available while supplies last.

The official Hoopfest program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with opening performances by the EKU Pep Band, cheer and dance squads before introductions from head coaches Dan McHale and Chrissy Roberts.
 
Both basketball teams will be introduced followed by scrimmages from both squads. Two scholarships will be given away between the scrimmages, courtesy of the President's office.
 
Free EKU Hoopfest shirts will be distributed at the conclusion of the event.
