RICHMOND, Ky. – Dates for this year's series of Mark Elder Football Camps at Eastern Kentucky University have been announced.
 
A two-day Youth Camp will be held June 1 and 2.  One-day Prospect Camps will be held June 16, 17 and 18, and July 7.  A Team 7-on-7 Camp is scheduled for July 25.
 
The Youth Camp is a two-day, daytime camp costing $30 per camper.  Campers must be entering grades K-8 in the fall of 2017.  Coaches will focus on basic fundamentals of offense, defense, and special teams and stress the importance of doing the right things.
 
The Prospect Camps offer campers the opportunity to be coached by the Eastern Kentucky football staff.  Participants will work on position-specific drills and skills in a competi­tive environment.  This is a one-day camp offered on four different dates. Age range for these camps is 9th grade-college.  The cost of these camps is $40 per camper.
 
The Team 7-on-7 Camp is a team event.  This will include round-robin pool play and a tournament.  Each team is guaranteed a minimum of five games against a different opponent.  This camp is $200 per team and an additional $100 for JV teams.
