CHARLOTTE AMALIE, ST. THOMAS, VI. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team will look to bounce back vs. Northern Iowa on Saturday at the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. ET.

EKU (2-2) trailed No. 12 Kansas State by only six, 47-41, with just under 15 minutes to play in Friday night's opening game. However, the nationally-ranked Wildcats pulled away late for a 95-68 victory.

Junior Dujuanta Weaver led the Colonels with 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting from deep. Senior Nick Mayo added 11 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Northern Iowa (1-2) fell to Penn on Friday night, 78-71. A.J. Green paces the Panthers at 18.0 points-per-game.

Depending on Saturday's results, EKU will play either Old Dominion or Kennesaw State on Monday.
