Full Media Day Video RICHMOND, Ky. – Six Eastern Kentucky football players and head coach Mark Elder fielded questions from the media at the 2018 EKU Football Media Day event on Friday.   Redshirt senior offensive lineman Cameron Kowalewski and redshirt senior tight end Dan Paul were first up.  Paul is a preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference selection.   Those two were followed by redshirt senior wide receiver Neiko Creamer and redshirt senior running back LJ Scott.  Scott is a preseason All-America honoree as a kick returner.   After four offensive players field questions, redshirt senior linebacker Gavin Bryant and redshirt junior defensive lineman Aaron Patrick represented the defense.  Patrick is a preseason All-America choice.   Elder wrapped up the media day event.  The former Tennessee assistant is about to begin his third season as head coach of the Colonels.  He'll have the luxury of seven starters returning on offense and seven on defense.  In all, nearly 70 players return from last season's team.   The 2018 season begins for the Colonels in just over two weeks when Morehead State visits Roy Kidd Stadium on Thursday, August 30.  For ticket information, contact the EKU Athletics Ticket Office at 844-3-GOBIGE.
