10/23/2019 1:27:00 PM

This episode has it all -- a future doctor, a hall of famer, a handball national champion and one of the top young soccer coaches in the nation!!  Kicker Samuel Hayworth made two big field goals in the win at Murray State and shares how his experiences as a life guard and a kicker will prepare him for his future career as a doctor.  Former football assistant coach Jack Ison recently joined the EKU Athletics Hall of Fame, find out the contribution he brought to EKU and how it is helping student-athletes today.  Ragnhildur Kristinsdottir fired the second lowest round of her collegiate golf career this past weekend, but before coming to EKU she was a national champion in handball.  Assistant coach Morgan Ferrara talks about the soccer team's back-to-back shutouts and what it means to her to be recognized as one of the top young coaches in soccer.

In addition to all those great stories, learn how the EKU Agriculture degree is preparing students to be a part of solutions in the food and energy industries.

The show is entirely produced by the EKU Communications and Brand Management staff and members of the EKU Athletics department.  The show is recorded each week in the Perkins Building studio. Each episode can be seen at EKUsports.com and www.facebook.com/ekucolonels.

In the spring of 2017, Inside EKUSports was awarded the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network Program of Excellence Award for Ancillary Programming.
