CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Eastern will take to the road on Saturday for a game at 17th ranked Southeast Missouri.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.

- EKU leads the all-time series 25-4. The Colonels are 12-2 against the Redhawks in games played in Cape Girardeau. The two teams first met in 1990 and Eastern won the first 12 match-ups in the series.

- Eastern Kentucky suffered a 28-21 overtime loss to No. 25 Austin Peay on Saturday. The Colonels are 5-4 overall and 3-2 against OVC teams.
- In its last three games, EKU has allowed a total of 125 rushing yards. The Colonels gave up just 22 at Murray State, 40 yards on the ground at Eastern Illinois and 63 yards to Austin Peay.

Daryl McCleskey Jr. and
Alonzo Booth are highly ranked in national rushing stats. McCleskey is eighth in the nation with 947 rushing yards and 12th with an average of 6.53 yards per carry. Booth ranks 12th with 11 rushing touchdowns.
- As a team, EKU leads the OVC and is 17th in the nation with 210.4 rushing yards per game.
- Eastern leads the OVC in scoring defense (21.4 ppg), passing defense (191.1 yrds/gm), third down defense (30.5 percent), is second in total defense (321.8 yrds/gm) and third in rushing defense (130.7 yrds/gm).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- No. 17 Southeast Missouri (6-3, 4-1 OVC) is riding a three-game winning streak after a 32-13 win at Tennessee State on Saturday. The Redhawks have also beaten Tennessee Tech (43-37 2OT), Jacksonville State (24-21) and UT Martin (17-10). SEMO's lone league loss was at Austin Peay (28-24).
- The Redhawks average 29 points per game and allow 26 points per contest.
- SEMO has a balanced offensive attack with 253 passing attempts and 227 rushing attempts this season. Southeast averages 198 yards through the air and 170 on the ground.
- Defensively, Southeast Missouri has allowed 396 yards per game, 243 of which have come through the air and 152 on the ground.
- Quarterback Daniel Santacaterina makes the offense go. He has thrown for 1,717 yards and 12 touchdowns. Geno Hess leads a balanced rushing attack with 530 yards on 87 carries.
