RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team welcomes Jacksonville State and Tennessee Tech to McBrayer Arena on senior weekend.
The Colonels take on Jacksonville State at 6 p.m. on Friday. EKU will follow that up with senior day against Tennessee Tech on Saturday. First serve against the Golden Eagles is scheduled for 2 p.m.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-Eastern comes into the week at 9-17 (4-8 OVC), and fighting for a tournament spot after splitting a pair of contests against Belmont and Tennessee State.

Abby Noll leads the way offensively for the Colonels with a team-best 326 kills (3.88 kills per set) and 266 digs on the year. Noll's 3.88 kills per set ranks third in the conference on the year.

Dena Tekavec brings her team-high 396 digs (4.60 digs per set) into the weekend. Her 4.60 digs per set ranks fifth in the OVC.

Rachel Woody leads the team with 577 assists on the year. Her 8.24 assists per set ranks seventh in the conference.
-Eastern ranks first in the conference in digs per set. The Colonels' 17.27 digs per set ranks 22nd in the NCAA.
-EKU ranks fourth in the conference in opponent hitting percentage.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
JACKSONVILLE STATE
-The Gamecocks come into the weekend at 15-9 (9-3 OVC) and tied for the third in the conference after splitting a pair of contests against Tennessee Tech and SEMO.
-JSU swept the Colonels in Jacksonville earlier this year.
-Lena Kindermann brings her team-best 320 kills into the contest. Her 3.72 kills per set ranks fourth in the OVC.
-Lexie Libbs comes into the weekend ranked first in the conference in assists per set with 11.27. She has 969 assists on the season.
-Erin Carmichael comes in with a team-best 324 digs on the year. Her 3.77 digs per set ranks 10th in the Ohio Valley Conference.
TENNESSEE TECH
-The Golden Eagles come into the weekend at 10-15 (6-6 OVC) on the year after splitting a pair of contests against Jacksonville State and UT Martin.
-TTU defeated Eastern, 3-2, in Cookeville earlier this year.
-Ali Verzani paces the Golden Eagles offense with 327 kills on the year. Her 3.55 kills per set ranks fifth in the OVC.
-Ashley Hand continues to drop dimes on the year with her team-best 904 assists (9.62 assists per set) on the year. Her 9.62 assists per set ranks fourth in the conference.
-Carly Skrabak brings her team-best 385 digs into the weekend. Her 4.10 digs per set ranks eighth in the conference.
