MOREHEAD, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's beach volleyball team lost to in-state rival Morehead State University in a dual match on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Colonels (0-6) lost in both matches, 5-0.
 
In match number one, the four, five and six seeds started off the contest. No.6 Natalie Burchesky and Mikayla Logan lost their opening set 27-25. No. 5 Clairissa Hankinson and Annie Cvelbar lost 21-17 in their opening seat before losing in straight sets.
 
Morehead State (7-3) swept the Colonels in first match without dropping as set.
 
In match two the Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.  No. 1 Dena Tekavec and Jovanna Bulatovic lost the first set 21-17, before falling in straight sets. MSU won in straight sets to win the match 5-0.
