RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University dance team placed third in both the Pom and Team performance divisions at NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida this week.
 
It is the team's best national finish ever in the team performance division.
 
The dance team consists of 19 dancers and one graduate student intern.
 
"We were very excited and pleased with the results!" Head coach Bettina Rogers said. "We compete at NDA College Nationals every year and have placed in the top-three the past three years, so we are excited that the program keeps growing and climbing the ladder towards a national title."
 
Tryouts for the 2019-20 EKU dance team will be held April 26-27 and May 3-4. Scholarships are available to all dancers. Contact Bettina Rogers at Bettina.rogers@eku.edu for more information.
