EKU Welcomes CU Harrodsburg to McBrayer Arena on Thursday Night

RICHMOND, Ky.  – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team returns home to host Campbellsville University Harrodsburg on Thursday night at McBrayer Arena. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
 
The game will air live on ESPN+. The radio broadcast of the game can be heard locally at 100.7 FM and worldwide at EKUSports.com.
 
 
WHAT TO KNOW
 
EKU (5-2, 1-1 OVC) fell at rival Morehead State, 75-62, on Monday night.
 
Junior Tre King led EKU with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals in the loss on Monday.
 
Freshman Wendell Green Jr. scored a career-high 16 points at Morehead State. He also dished a team-best five assists.
 
Green Jr. ranks first among all OVC freshmen in assists/game (5.1) and steals/game (2.0) and second in points/game (11.3).
 
Five Colonels are averaging double figures in scoring: Tre King (15.7 points-per-game), Jomaru Brown (11.8 points-per-game), Wendell Green Jr. (11.3 points-per-game), Michael Moreno (11.1 points-per-game), and Curt Lewis (10.4 points-per-game).
 
Sophomore Tariq Balogun is currently tied for the OVC lead in blocks (12).
 
EKU forced Morehead State into 20 turnovers on Monday. The Colonels rank 2nd in the country in steals-per-game (13.1), 4th in turnovers forced-per-game (22.6) and 7th in turnover margin (+9.9).
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
CU Harrodsburg is currently 1-2.
 
Chris Rawlins is averaging 21.3 points-per-game for the Pioneers.
 
This is the first-ever meeting between EKU and CU Harrodsburg.
