RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's track and field teams will open the indoor season at the University of Kentucky's Rod McCravy-Jim Green Invitational this weekend in Lexington.
 
Action from Nutter Field House kicks off with the women's weight throw at 3 p.m. on Friday. A majority of the events will take place on Saturday, with the meet wrapping up around 3 p.m. with the 4x400-meter relays.
 
It will be the first competition for the EKU track and field / cross country program since February 27, 2020 – the OVC Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
 
Five teams are scheduled to compete at the meet – EKU, Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati and North Carolina A&T.
