RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University cross country teams wraps up the regular season Friday at the XC23 Invitational hosted by Virginia.
 
The Men's 8K race starts at 10 a.m. followed by the women's 5K race at 10:50 a.m.
 
The squads will square off against Miami, Yale, Virginia, William & Mary, VCU, Penn, Norfolk State, George Washington, and Loyola (MD).  
Ahmed Jaziri finished second at the Joe Paine Invitational hosted by Notre Dame with a 5-mile time of 24:26.6. The men finished ninth in the Gold Race.
 
Jone Zabaleta Larranaga and Laura Taborda finished 13th and 14th in the gold race at Notre Dame. The women finished fifth as a team.
