JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Eastern Kentucky lost 3-0 to Jacksonville State on Saturday.
 
JSU won by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-21.
 
Sarah Mitchell led Eastern Kentucky with 14 kills to go along with nine digs.  Audrey Eurton had 32 assists and seven digs.  Sydney Schoen led the team with 14 digs.
 
A kill by Molly Michalak and a JSU attack error allowed the Colonels to tie the first set at 18-18.  The Gamecocks scored the next four points however, on their way to a 25-21 win.
 
Lena Kindermann had a team-high 13 kills for Jacksonville State.
 
JSU had just three more kills and both teams had 17 errors and 42 digs, but the Gamecocks served up 11 aces compared to one for the Colonels.
 
EKU will be back in action at home for two ASUN matches next weekend.  Friday's match with Lipscomb is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
