CONWAY, Ark. – EKU will play a pair of ASUN Conference road matches at Central Arkansas and Lipscomb this weekend.
 
The Colonels take on Central Arkansas on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.  The match against Lipscomb is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.  Sunday's match will air live on ESPN+.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU and Central Arkansas will be meeting for the first time. 
 
-  The Colonels hold a 9-0 advantage over Lipscomb.  The two teams played nine times between 2000 and 2005, but have not faced each other since. 
 
THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky (5-14, 2-3 ASUN) lost at home to No. 20 Western Kentucky, 3-0, on Wednesday.  In their last ASUN match, the Colonels beat North Alabama, 3-1.
 
-  Sarah Mitchell led the team with 12 kills against the top-25 ranked Hilltoppers.
 
-  In five ASUN matches, Reilly Lowe has a team-best 18 blocks, an average of 1.13 per set.
 
-  Molly Michalak leads the ASUN with 227 kills this season.
 
-  Sydney Schoen is fifth in the ASUN with 4.05 digs per set and is second with a total of 296 digs.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Central Arkansas sits at 3-10 this season and 1-3 in ASUN play.  The Sugar Bears beat Kennesaw State, 3-0, before dropping their next two league matches to Stetson (3-0) and Lipscomb (3-0).
