EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Eastern Kentucky University freshman
Wendell Green Jr. was voted to the five-man Ohio Valley Conference All-Tournament Team, the league announced on Saturday night.

Green Jr. averaged 26.0 points, 4.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals-per-game in Evansville. He shot 7-of-10 from three-point range. The 5-11 guard turned the ball over only two times.

In Thursday's 70-67 win over Austin Peay, Green Jr. went for a game high 23 points, to go along with six steals and five assists.

The Detroit native exploded for 29 points, four assists and three rebounds versus Morehead State in the semifinals on Friday.

Green Jr. is joined on the OVC All-Tournament Team by Morehead State's Johni Broome (MVP), DeVon Cooper and Skyelar Potter and Belmont's Grayson Murphy.

He is the first Colonel to earn OVC All-Tournament honors since Corey Walden, Glenn Cosey and Tarius Johnson in 2014.
