RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's Turner Buttry and Jackson Holt were selected to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
The Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
 
In the classroom, Buttry carries a 3.67 cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) while majoring in sport management and minoring in psychology.  Holt has compiled a 3.60 GPA while majoring in finance with a minor in risk management and insurance.
 
On the court, Buttry played in all 32 games and started 11 times this past season.  He averaged 9.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 38% from the field.  Buttry made 37% of his attempts from 3-point range (58-for-158) and connected on 91% of his free throw attempts (87-of-96).
 
The 5-foot-11 guard from Bowling Green, Kentucky broke the program single season record for free throw percentage.  He scored a season-high 20 points at Northern Kentucky.
 
Holt appeared in all 32 games and started 11 times.  He averaged 7.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. 
 
In a game at Central Arkansas, the 6-foot-4 guard from Cincinnati, Ohio scored a season-best 16 points.  He had a career-high eight rebounds at Northern Kentucky.
