MARTIN, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University's beach volleyball team fell to No. 3 UT Martin, 3-0, in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference Beach Championship.
 
The number three pairing of Raegan Alexander and Molly Michalak put up a fight, but came up short in the opening set, 21-17. The two couldn't get over the hump and fell in the second set 21-16.
 
The number one and two pairings did not finish their matches because the Skyhawks had already won the first three pairings in the match.
 
The Colonels will fall to the elimination part of the bracket and play the loser of No. 1 Morehead State and No. 4 Austin Peay tomorrow. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
