RICHMOND, Ky. –
The first EKU home football game is 100 days from today and Roy Kidd Stadium will operate at 100 percent capacity for the historic 2021 football season.

All EKU sports will join the ASUN Conference on July 1.  Before the ASUN begins full football sponsorship in 2022, Eastern will play six games in 2021 as part of the ASUN-WAC Challenge.  Three of those six will be against top-15 ranked teams during this past season, including two playoff squads and the 2021 FCS National Champion.

In addition, tailgating will return for the 2021 season.  Game times for the first three home games have also been announced.

Season tickets for the 2021 season are on sale now through the EKU Ticket Office.  Season tickets can be purchased for as low as $6.50 per game with premium chairback seating available for less than $35 per game.  Overall packages start at just $39 for the 2021 season.

The Colonels will play six times at home starting with Indiana State on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. ET.  Austin Peay comes to Richmond on Sept. 25 for 3 p.m. ET kickoff.  The Homecoming opponent is Tarleton on Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. ET.  Additional home games include Abilene Christian on Oct. 9, Lamar on Oct. 30 and Jacksonville State on Nov. 20.

All seats for the upcoming season are reserved.  Tickets can be purchased online NOW.  Please contact the EKU Ticket Office at tickets@eku.edu or 844-3-GOBIGE with additional questions.

The new season also features the launch of a robust season ticket holder benefits package.  Additional benefits were available to individuals that renewed their seats before the April 30 deadline and will be presented for new season ticket holders when renewing their seats for 2022.

Benefits include:
- Season ticket holders will have access fees for an EKU Recreation Center membership waived, giving them the chance to gain access to purchase exclusive memberships.
- EKU will institute a clear bag policy for the 2021 season, as part of this move each season ticket account will receive an exclusive gift of a clear bag that complies with the new safety policy.
- Season ticket holders are given first access to purchase additional single game tickets and will have the chance to purchase their regular season tickets for postseason games held at Roy Kidd Stadium.
- As part of the Colonel Club's efforts to reinvent the donor experience, season ticket holders will have the chance to participate in virtual events and will also be given priority entry to select fan events.
- EKU will provide 10 lucky season ticket holders the chance to win additional prizes during our two-week contest in June for renewed and new season ticket holders.

Eastern Kentucky opens the 2021 season at Western Carolina on Sept. 4.
