RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's Charles Kipchumba was named ASUN Male Freshman Runner of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.
 
Kipchumba continued his impressive start to the season finishing seventh at the Furman Invitational with a 5K time of 14:20.82.  
 
That time was good enough for second on the team.
 
It is the second time he has won the award this year.
 
Eastern Kentucky returns to the course this weekend at the Mike and Mary Kay Johnson Invite hosted by Berea College.
