RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University beach volleyball team is set to wrap up the regular season on the road at the Austin Peay Beach Bash.
 
The Colonels open the event on Friday against UT Martin. First serve against the Skyhawks is scheduled for 1 p.m. EKU then takes on the host Austin Peay at 5 p.m. to wrap up Friday.
 
Eastern Kentucky takes on ASUN foe Jacksonville State at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Colonels will then have one more match on Saturday that is a seeded match.  
 
UT Martin comes into the weekend at 10-5 on the season. UTM fell in a pair of matches against North Alabama in the midweek. Austin Peay enters the weekend at 12-9 on the season. APSU beat the Colonels 4-1 on April 1. Jacksonville State comes into the weekend at 1-17 on the year. The Colonels beat JSU, 3-2, on April 2.
 
Paityn Walker and Sarah Mitchell comes into the weekend with a 10-6 record on the year out of the number two pairing.
 
The Colonels have the most wins in a single season in program history.
