HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Will King hit two home runs to help Eastern Kentucky build a 5-0 lead, but Northern Kentucky rallied to win 16-5 in seven innings on Wednesday.
King hit a 2-run home run over the wall in left field in the top of the first inning.

Kendal Ewell drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning. King started the third with a solo home run to make it 5-0 in favor of the visitors.
NKU scored three runs each in the third, fourth and fifth innings to seize control. Noah Fisher had a 2-run home run in the third and a 2-run single in the fourth. Michael Hall hit a 3-run home run in the fifth to make it 9-5.
Liam McFadden-Ackman's grand slam in the bottom of the seventh capped a 7-run inning and ended the game.
King finished 3-for-3 with a walk, two runs and three RBIs for the Colonels (27-14). Fisher had a 3-for-5 game with two runs and six RBIs for Northern Kentucky (14-25).
Eastern Kentucky will travel to Louisville for a three-game series at Bellarmine this weekend. Friday's series opener will begin at 2 p.m.
