RICHMOND, Ky. – The ASUN Conference announced the 2023 conference softball schedule Monday. EKU will host four series at Gertrude Hood Field and play four conference foes on the road in 2023.

EKU will kick-off the 2023 ASUN Conference slate with a home series against Liberty, who was a 2022 NCAA Tournament participant, on March 18-19 at Gertrude Hood Field.

The Colonels will then hit the road for two-straight weekend series, first making a stop at Kennesaw State (March 25-26) and following with a series at North Alabama (April 1-2).

EKU will return to Richmond and prepare for two-straight weeks against schools from Florida, starting with a home series with Jacksonville (April 8-9) and a road contest at Florida Gulf Coast the following weekend (April 15-16).

The squad will return from the Sunshine State for the third ASUN Conference home series of the season with a battle against Jacksonville State (April 22-23).

The final road trip of the regular seasons sees EKU travel to Lipscomb (April 29-30) prior to hosting Bellarmine for the regular season finale in Richmond (May 6-7). 

EKU will vie for a spot in the ASUN Tournament startin on May 13 in DeLand, Fla.
