WILMINGTON, N.C. – The EKU beach volleyball team fell in a pair of matches at UNC Wilmington on Wednesday. 

Rachel Mueller and Bella Williams notched a point for the Colonels in the first contest, rallying for a 13-21, 24-22, 16-14 win at the No. 3 spot. 

In the second meeting, EKU earned a point on court five when Elizabeth Fonvielle and Arilyn Lee won 21-18, 20-22, 15-9 in their first action as a pair this season. 

Mueller and Williams moved to 9-5 on the season,, tying Hannah Keating and Paityn Walker for the most wins as a duo this year. 

EKU will host its first matches of the season at home on Mar. 24-25, when the Colonels welcome Austin Peay, Ottawa, Liberty, and Tusculum to Richmond.
