RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU men's tennis team (3-11, 0-2 ASUN) fell to Jacksonville State (9-6, 1-0 ASUN) by a score of 5-2 at the Greg Adams Tennis Center on Friday.
To begin the dual match, the Gamecocks won two doubles matches to enter singles with a one-point advantage.
In singles play,
Moritz Mayer dominated in his singles match, winning from the No. 1 court in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
J.Anurag Reddy won his singles match in a three-set thriller from the No. 4 spot, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
However, the Gamecocks won four singles matches to clinch the match for Jacksonville State.
