RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU beach volleyball team is set to host eight matches over two days this weekend for the EKU Beach Tournament, featuring the Colonels, Austin Peay, Liberty, and Tusculum. 

The Colonels will play four times, facing Tusculum at 1:00 p.m. and Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. EKU battles Austin Peay at 10:00 a.m. and Tusculum at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Tusculum

• Enters the weekend 5-7 with three losses against teams who have been nationally-ranked this season. 
• The Pioneers beat Morehead State twice on Monday, topping the Eagles 3-2 in both matches. 

Liberty

• Went 3-1 in its last tournament action, beating Spartanburg. Methodist, Erskine, and Catawba
• Fell 5-0 to EKU on Feb. 25 at the Grand Sands Tournament.

Austin Peay

• Brings 7-5 record and four-match winning streak into this weekend's tournament.
• Dropped a pair of 3-2 matches to EKU in the Grand Sands Tournament.

• EKU dropped a pair of 4-1 matches at UNC Wilmington on Mar. 15. 
• Rachel Mueller and Bella Williams earned their ninth win of the season and are tied for the team-high in that category.
