CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The EKU beach volleyball team heads to Chattanooga this weekend to compete in four matches.

The Colonels will battle Liberty at 9:00 a.m. and host Chattanooga at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Saturday's slate features contests against Carson-Newman at 11:00 a.m. and UT Martin at 3:00 p.m.

Liberty

• The Flames will be looking to avoid a third sweep at the hands of EKU this season.
• Liberty's No. 5 pair of Abigail Luke and Emma Taylor forced a third set against the Colonels in Richmond last weekend.

Chattanooga

• Owns an 8-5 overall record and has won four consecutive matches. 
• UTC's No. 1 pair of Neva Clark and Joy Courtright won all four duals at home last weekend. 

Carson-Newman

• Boast an undefeated 21-0 record this season, including four wins over Division I squads. 
• Ava Fountain and Abbey Hillenbrand are a perfect 21-0 at the No. 2 flight for the Eagles. 

UT Martin

• 12-6 on the season and is riding a five-match winning streak.
• Kambree Lucas and Olivia O'Keefe were named OVC Pair of the Week after going 6-0 at the No. 2 slot last week. 

LAST TIME OUT

• EKU went 2-2 at home with victories over Tusculum and Liberty last weekend.
• Hannah Keating and Shannon Stone were a perfect 4-0 last wekeend, winning all eight sets. 
• Rachel Mueller and Bella Williams lead the team with 11 victories as a duo, all from the No. 3 flight.
