ATLANTA – Moritz Mayer was selected ASUN Third Team All-Conference, the conference announced Wednesday.
 
Mayer led the Colonels in singles play, posting a 9-11 record from the top two spots in the lineup. He defeated Liberty's Rafael Marques Da Silva in straight sets from the No. 1 spot in singles on March 18, 7-5, 6-4. Da Silva was ranked #99 in the country in singles in early February and he was selected ASUN First Team All-Conference.
 
The Eutingen, Germany product also beat Bellarmine's Matthew Nice in singles play on March 29 from the No. 1 court in a three-set thriller, 4-6, 6-4, 12-10. Nice was selected for multiple postseason ASUN awards, including ASUN Second Team All-Conference and ASUN All-Freshman Team.
 
The sophomore posted a 6-8 doubles mark from the top two spots in the lineup.
 
The Colonels start postseason play in the first round of the ASUN Tournament against #7 Jacksonville State on Thursday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Liberty Tennis Complex in Lynchburg, Va.
