MACON, Ga. – The EKU beach volleyball team is set to conclude the regular season this weekend as the Colonels compete at the Bears Beach Bash. 

EKU opens the event on Friday against North Alabama at 11:00 a.m. before playing host Mercer at 3:00 p.m. The Colonels take on UNC Wilmington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and conclude play with a rematch against North Alabama at 3:00 p.m. 
 
SCOUTING
North Alabama

• The Lions own a 16-13 overall record and have won four of their last five matches. 
• Two different North Alabama pairs have earned ASUN Pair of the Week honors this season. 

Mercer

• Enters the weekend with a 10-21 record. 
• Kate Hardie and Nicole O'Mara set a program record this season with 13 consecutive victories as a pair. 

UNC Wilmington

• Owns an 11-12 mark on the season.  
• Defeated the Colonels 4-1 in a pair of duals on Mar. 15.  

LAST TIME OUT

• EKU swept Morehead State 5-0 in two duals at home last Saturday. 
• Hannah Keating and Shannon Stone extended their program-record winning streak to 10 consecutive matches. 
• Rachel Mueller and Bella Williams picked up their team-leading 12th win of the season.  

WHAT'S NEXT

• The Colonels travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for the ASUN Beach Conference Tournament on Apr. 21-23.
