RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team (1-1, 0-0 ASUN) fell to #11 Kentucky (2-0, 0-0 SEC) by a score of 7-0 at Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex on Monday.
To begin the dual match, the Colonels lost their doubles matches at the No. 1 and No. 3 courts to give the Wildcats a one-point advantage.
Fernando Bulnes and
Evzen Holis were winning 5-4 on court 2 in their doubles matchup, but the match did not finish.
Paul-Antoine Brazet won the first set in his singles match from the No. 6 spot, but he lost in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 4-10.
The Wildcats won in singles play from the other five courts to clinch the match.
