FLORENCE, Ala. – The volleyball team will make its first Atlantic Sun Conference road trip of the season this weekend with matches at North Alabama and Central Arkansas.

The Colonels will play at North Alabama on Friday at 7 p.m. ET. The match against Central Arkansas is set for Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. Both matches will air live on ESPN+.

THE COLONELS
- EKU opened league play last weekend by splitting a pair of matches at home. The Colonels beat Austin Peay, 3-0, before falling to preseason conference favorite Lipscomb in five sets.

-Â After recording her first career triple-double against Oakland on Sept. 20, setter
Emilee Hill posted another triple-double against Lipscomb on Sept. 27. She finished with 11 kills, 12 digs and 28 assists.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- North Alabama is 7-8 overall and 1-1 in ASUN matches. The Lions have a 3-0 win at Alabama this season. UNA fell to Central Arkansas (3-0) and beat Jacksonville (3-0) in its two league matches. Â

- Reese Ricketts leads the team, and is tied for fourth in the ASUN, with 3.51 kills per set. Audrey Small contributes 4.40 digs per set, fifth-best in the conference.Â

- Central Arkansas sits at 5-8 overall and 2-0 against conference teams. The Sugar Bears have won four straight, including ASUN matches against North Alabama (3-0) and North Florida (3-1).
